When it comes to reloading, Hodgdon Powder has the widest variety of high-quality smokeless propellants available. This extruded flake powder, formerly sold under the IMR brand and now sold under the Hodgdon label, works great in 12 and 16 gauge shotshells with the light field loads and clay target loads that are the norm for these calibers. As a bonus, it functions wonderfully as a pistol target powder for many different calibers, including the 38 Special, 45 ACP, and others.
